In reply to FoxFifth's post on February 29, It is a pretty big coincidence that both of my printers had scanner errors on the same day, a few months after getting the new laptop with Epon 7.

Return back to support options for Epson Stylus CX I'll try again, using the Twain Drive link you sent. Not yet an Epson partner? Since switching to Windows 7, my Epson CX all-in-one's scanner worked for a while, and now the error light is on constantly, with a scanner error message scrolling in the display.
